Kelvin Mutize is a 2015 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Initiative participant representing Zimbabwe reflects on his first week in the United States after arriving from Zimbabwe. Mutize who is stationed at Arizona State University is joined by fellow Zimbabwean Sizwile Nyamande and other young leaders representing 20 African countries. Mutize is the co-founder of TV Yangu an online video platform and volunteer for Champions of Life a psychosocial support system for families living with HIV/AIDS.
